SUSTAINABILITY
Both the MGS Backlot and Plaza apply sustainable practices to protect and preserve the environment. These include deployment of solar power, natural non-toxic construction materials and furnishings, rainwater retention and other technologies to supplement municipal power and water supplies.
The MGS Plaza commons and promenades are landscaped in a botanical garden motif, populated with shade trees and indigenous plants and flowers to encourage both local guests and tourists to make MGS a fun and relaxing destination to spend their time and money on a regular basis.

COMMUNITY SERVICES
As part of its mission, Movie Garden Studios is dedicated to serve the local community, as follows:
• Job Creation
MGS plans to hire approx. 135 full-time employees FYE5, giving priority to local residents. In addition, MGS will work with the Mississippi Film Commission to assist and encourage producers who rent its facilities to hire local residents as part of its production crew, staff and cast. Depending on the size of the productions, the Company expects this to result in over 500 additional temporary jobs per year.
• Meal Services for Hunger Relief
The Company will open the doors of its Commissary to serve hot meals to over 200 homeless and economically distressed individuals and families on national holidays, such as Independence Day, Martin Luther King Day, Thanksgiving, etc. This program will be operated in conjunction with local non-profits to provide transportation for our guests and local restaurants and food vendors to supplement the meals provided by the Company.
